Hi, I'm Micah Thornton

I'm a hands-on technologist working across data analytics, software development, automation, and cybersecurity operations, with experience bringing that work into CTE and STEM-focused learning environments. I build practical dashboards, ETL workflows, security tooling, instructional resources, and incident-ready telemetry for real IT environments, then translate the messy parts into clean, usable outcomes.

My day-to-day strengths are Python, SQL, Linux, technical writing, and the bridge between engineering detail, classroom communication, and stakeholder clarity. This site has the same personality: a playful Windows 98 shell wrapped around a modern, responsive, accessible front end.

Robot Crew

Outpost Spark

Build a robot.
Bring it to life.

I created Outpost Spark with Astra in Codex for my CTE Robotics class. Students build PIP, program a sensor-guided delivery, and test their ideas in an interactive 3D workshop.

• Build: learn the parts, assemble PIP, and bring it to life.
• Program & test: use Blockly, sensor feedback, and the Open Test Bay.
• Learn at our pace: teacher-controlled lesson releases and saved progress.

React · TypeScript · Three.js · Blockly · Blender
